Hold a Fundraiser

You and your friends can help the YWCA Support Network by having a fundraiser. No matter what the size of the event is, your effort will help the lives of victims of domestic violence.

Friends, community organizations, faith groups and corporate employees have held a variety of functions on our behalf, raising from $200 to $20,000. Their events have included: bake sales. walk-a-thons, penny drives, spaghetti feeds, game nights, a concert by a well-known artist, a Bay Cruise with an auction, cocktail parties at donor's home (with a survivor speaker). Share Your Story

No one can inspire a victim of abuse better than someone who has experienced domestic violence firsthand. If you have put enough distance and recovery between yourself and the trauma you endured, your success can encourage those who are presently trying to imagine a future free from abuse. Our Speaker's Bureau also needs you to help raise community awareness about this usually hidden crime. For more information, call 408-295-4011 x 373.

Donate In-kind

The YWCA Support Network is always in need of provisions for our client families and for shelter residents. We also often need equipment for our offices. If you can supply any of these needs, we would be most appreciative. MORE >
